TRENDY TUESDAY

Good morning Petites..and welcome to trendy Tuesday...Today I would like to talk about something so cute and very dear to my heart..Pets..yes thats right..you read correctly..everywhere you go you see fashionista walking around with a pet attached to them like an accessory..I am sure you have seen this right?..I think its so cute..and for the last year I have been begging my love at home to buy me one..I love dogs..and I want so badly to have a little girl dog so I can dress up and take out with me...I call them cupcake dogs..LOL..You see I am in a house filled with males..my husband..three boys and a gigantic male boxer..Way to much male for me..I need to level the playground here..

I think there is a trend being set here..because like I said all the stars are always captured in pictures holding there beloved pets..and I personally think its adorable..however..pets are alot of work..its like having another baby..So before jumping into something like this please think careful about it..Its definitely a commit it..There are plenty of breeders around to get a dog of your choice and of course the dog pound is another great place to find a dog..Like most trends..your gonna pay for a full breed dog..People are cashing in on this latest craze right now...so be careful and never buy a puppy from the pet store..The pet stores are supporting puppy mills..and we dont want that..( i got in there a little statement)..But anyway..it all depends on what you like of course..Being a fashionista we make those choices according to our personality..and thats what make us Fashionista's...

So for now..I will keep working on my love to buy me a dog..( you see I have a little problem with the word NO)..and hopefully he will give in..xoxo

MONDAY MISHISM

Hello my petites..I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend..It came and went very fast..Right?..Todays topic is for our young petites...Its a shame to me in todays society that soo very many of are young petites are dressing in all the wrong ways..Why is this?..Did we do this when we were younger?..I know there is the big matter of wanting to be grown up and also that little matter of boys!!But its a little out of control..I see young petites ( I talkin 16 and younger) all the time who look look like clowns in there get ups..I use this term get up because that is what it is..there is no fashion here just pure and simple get up..Its really a shame to me..because these poor girls have no idea the difference..And God for bid a parent calls them on it..they go into hysterics..Right..Between the pressure of TV, movies and of course friends..these girls are forced to believe this is the right way..But of course its not..The young girls do not know the word style..which is very important..but this is never brought up in anything they see or hear..So here are two rules to follow my young ones..1. dont grow up to fast..its not that great being an adult..enjoy your youth..dress your age..there are soo many cool things out there for you to look ultra cool in without looking like you have a get up on..I wish I could wear some of the clothes today for the young petites..but thats a whole other topic..2..If your trying to impress a boy..dont try so hard..dont try to go all sexy or whatever it is you have in mind..dress cute..You see you want to attract the boy who thinks your cute..there the ones that are worth it..ya need to stay clear of the boys who use the word sexy..trust me on this one petites. Lastly..be happy your young..it only happens once and once its gone..its gone..And remember your are our future fashionista's..think before you put something on and follow the rules..you wont regret it..I promise you that.Fashion is all about syle my loves..without sytle you have nothing..Its a very important accessory..not to have...make us proud...xoxo

TALK SHOP THURSDAY

Hello my petites..its almost Friday...yeah...It feels soo good to get toward the end of the week..I love it!!...Well anyway..today is Talk Shop Thursday..Its were I pick a store and talk about it..lol..thats funny right..I would rather been in it shopping then talking about it..but for now this will do..Its like smelling the scent of the bakery before you enter it..Today I would like to talk about OLD NAVY..I like this store..it has almost everything you need to create or add to a wardrobe..There is plenty to chose from and most importantly its affordable..Right now with the economy being the way it is we need a store that you can shop and feel good about spending the money..( I dont have a problem with this..I always feel good about shopping.) But seriously..you need a break on your wallet..and if you feel this way..OLD NAVY might be the place for you..Every week this store has a item of the week sale...And its good..Not that this would be a selling point for us Fashionista's but they also sell mens and childrens clothes also..so if you need to you could do a one stop shopping..and they also sell items for your beloved pets..cute right?..And for you petites that dont have an OLD NAVY in your area..guess what you can shop on line...yeah..So check it out..it might not meet everyones taste and thats ok of course..but ya never now what ya might find..Happy Shopping Petites...xoxo

WE ASK WEDNESDAY ????

As I told my petites in my post I will be doing a post called we ask...And my very first post will be about a fellow Fashionista..Shelly..Shelly is a Fashionista we all should look up too..Because she has it going on..She is not only a Fashionista..but a wife and a mom of three children.. But wait theres more..Shelly maintains a fashion blog..sells very fashionable clothes in her Ebay Store and teaches fitness classes..Yes you read right..she does all this and looks fabulous doing it..I asked Shelly if she has any hurdles she must jump through and she told me there was a couple..One being the fact that she lives in a small town..so trying to keep up with the ever changing trends are hard due to the fact there is a limited number of clothes stores in her area..( Big Bummer )..and the other hurdle and probably the biggest is trying to take care of her family and still being herself.. ( This is very hard )..But she does it..Shelly loves to dress nice just because..It makes her feel good and its her treat to herself for the day..This my petites is the definition of a Fashionista..And my hat is off to you Shelly..Keep up the good work..You make us all proud..

FASHIONISTA AND THE TREND

Hello petites and welcome to Trendy Tuesday...As I have been flippin through fashion magazines these particular shoes have been popping up everywhere..At first I was like what..but you know what they have grown on me...I can honestly see myself wearing these sandals...There very cute...I have seen them worn with a skirt and they look fabulous...I have also seen them in a silver color...These little babies are the product of Yves Saint Laurent..they come with a pretty hefy price tag too..$2,395!!!WOW..But dont fret my loves because its only a matter of time before these shoes are designed by someone more affordable..YEAH!!!..So with that being said...Check them out..see if they grow on you too...Very dernier cri...little french for my petites..xoxo
